Who we are
Tuft supplies real, living grass lawns for dogs, grown and hand-delivered across Wirral and Merseyside. Tuft is a service of Wirral Garden & Property, River Park, Port Sunlight, Wirral CH62. Contact: marcos@gmx.co.uk or 07542 888 772.
The product
Each lawn is a perishable, living product (approx. 60 × 40 cm). With normal indoor use it lasts one to two weeks depending on use, light and how many dogs share it. We describe sizes and expected lifespan honestly and in good faith, but as a natural product each lawn varies a little.
Ordering and payment
- Prices are shown at checkout and include free local delivery within our stated delivery area.
- Payment is taken securely by Stripe at the time of order. We never see or store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the frequency you chose (every 1 or 2 weeks) until you cancel.
Subscriptions — pause and cancel
- You can pause, skip or cancel at any time with no notice period and no fee — via the link in any order email, or by messaging us directly. To skip a Thursday delivery, let us know by the Tuesday before.
- Cancellation takes effect from the next billing date. Payments already taken cover a delivery already made or in preparation, and are not refunded once that lawn has been cut for you.
Delivery
- We deliver to Wirral & Merseyside (CH41–CH66 and Liverpool L postcodes). The postcode you give at checkout must be within this area.
- Deliveries run on our weekly Thursday round. If you won’t be in, tell us a safe place to leave the lawn — once left as instructed, it is your responsibility.
- If we fail to deliver an ordered lawn, we will replace it or refund it in full. That’s on us.
Cancellation rights and refunds
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have a 14-day right to cancel online orders. This right does not apply to goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, which includes fresh-cut living grass. In plain English: once a lawn has been cut and delivered, it can’t be returned for a refund. Before that point, cancel any time for a full refund of undelivered orders.
If a lawn arrives damaged or in poor condition, send us a photo within 48 hours and we’ll replace it or refund it — no quibble.
Using the product safely
- Our grass is grown without chemical treatments and is safe for puppies and adult dogs.
- The lawn is supplied for use as a pet toilet. Place it on a waterproof tray or surface — we’re not responsible for damage to floors or balconies from use without one.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it. Otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time you order is the one that applies to that order.
